Introduction

To help you get started, this guide shows you how to create an account and log in to CIS-Hosted CSAT, and provides an overview of the product areas.

Create Account

How you create or register your CIS-Hosted CSAT account depends primarily on whether or not your organization already uses CIS-Hosted CSAT. Refer to the procedure that applies to your situation.

If your organization already has an account but you are unsure who is the Primary Owner, or if the Primary Owner is no longer with the organization, submit a ticket to CIS Product Support.

Create Account - New Organization

For organizations who have not created a CIS-Hosted CSAT account before.

1. Go to CIS-Hosted CSAT.
2. Select Register Now.

3. Complete the fields with the required information.

If your organization website domain does not match the email domain

1. Register for CSAT, entering your email domain in the Website field on the CSAT registration page.
2. Activate the new CSAT account using the activation email that you receive.
3. Once you are successfully logged into CSAT, go to the Administration page and edit your organization's website domain.

The website change might not immediately show up. Try going to the Assessment Dashboard and then returning to Administration to see the change.

4. Select the I agree to the Terms of Service checkbox and complete the CAPTCHA.
5. Select Sign Up when finished.

You can now login to the application.

Create Account - Existing Organization

By Invitation

For users who have been added by a Primary Owner to an organization or sub-organization within CSAT.

1. Open the email invitation to create an account and follow the link.
2. Create a password.

Password Requirement

Passwords must be at least 14 characters.

You can now login to the application.

By Request

For users who attempt to create an account, but the email domain matches an existing organization domain in CIS-Hosted CSAT.

Tip

It may be quicker to ask the Primary Owner of your organization to send you an invitation rather than requesting access.

1. Follow the Create Account - New Organization procedure.
2. After selecting Sign Up, select Request login.

3. Enter a message, complete the CAPTCHA, and select Request Login.

Note

The Primary Owner will not get an email that the user is trying to be added.

The user will need to be accepted by the Primary Owner of the CSAT organization. If accepted, the user will receive an email invitation to create an account.

Log In

Users can enter their username and password here to login. U

1. Go to CIS-Hosted CSAT.
2. Enter the account email and password.

Forgot your password?

1. Select Forgot Password?.
2. Enter your email, complete the CAPTCHA, and select Send Password Reset.
3. Open the password reset email and follow the link.
4. Reset your password.

3. Select Sign In.

If your account is disabled, you will receive an “Account disabled. Please contact your Administrator” message.

4. Check the account email and enter the OTP (one-time passcode).
5. Select Verify OTP

You will land on CIS-Hosted CSAT's Dashboard.
